Kicking off Cinnamon Hot Week!

CC_Collecting Candy HotWeek TITLE PLATE

Although we’re rapidly coming up on October when our second annual participation in CountdownToHalloween will be going on, I wanted to squeeze in something I’d been planning since June – a Hot Week, or more specifically a Cinnamon Hot Week.

Originally planned for the hottest days of Summer, I wasn’t able to make the time to get a full week of consecutive posts generated back then so I’m going to squeeze it in now during the first full week of Autumn.  It might not tie into our current cooler season as well as it would have in June, but what the heck, right?

Hot Cinnamon is one of my favorite confectionery flavors, and by devoting a CollectingCandy.com theme week to it, I hope to showcase some of the most well-known as well as some of the more obscure cases of its use in popular confection.   This is my first creation of a themed week here on the site so I hope you dig it.
