Way back in 1982, the Hershey company held a Summer promotion where they upped the size of each of their standard bars and alerted consumers to it with a bright on-pack call-out. I call it the “Hershey’s Now Larger” promotion and you can check it out after the break.

But it wasn’t until 2016 that the “Kit Kat Cat” arrived and for the Halloween season they’ve really outdone themselves with a number of packages featuring this fun new character. For today’s entry in our Countdown To Halloween, I’m going to look at a selection of offerings from Praim Confections. It’s a company you probably haven’t heard of, but you’ve almost certainly seen their seasonal bars and appreciated their strong design or humor. Make the jump to check them out!
For those that aren’t familiar with the name, Unreal Candy is marketed as an organic and affordable alternative to some of the big brand mainstays of the candy isle. On the packaging design side of things, they launched with a remarkably bold look which I wrote about back in 2012. In 2013 they made visual adjustments, bringing an appearance to their product that was more accessible while still being edgier than those that they were differentiating themselves from. I haven’t had cause to post about them again until this week when I came across their awesome new line of Halloween/Day of the Dead-themed offerings. Make the jump to check them out!
