Here’s a quick post about a funky bubble gum from nearly twenty years ago.
What I have to share today is a trade ad for an unusual product from the early 1990’s; Mouth Wash Bubble Gum.
I don’t know too much about Mouth Wash Bubble Gum aside from what’s indicated on this ad. Produced in 1993 by the Swell division of the Philadelphia Chewing Gum company, it appears to have been a gum designed to turn your tongue different colors. The mascot has an earring and a baseball cap on backwards — gotta love the wild 1990’s.

I actually won a jar of these down the Jersey Shore when I was 16. I won on a 5 cent betting wheel. It landed on my chosen spot and i got to choose whatever candy i wanted! I chose the giant jar of MouthWash gum
I had some of.these when I was kid! They weren’t around long though, i only had them once. They had A LOT of dye in them. I remember spitting colors on the sidewalk lol. Fun times.
Wow I remember this candy when I was a kid back in the 90s, awesome time that will never comeback.
