Anyone Remember Alligator Eggs?

Here’s one I didn’t really recall, even though I must have certainly seen it when it was out.  Clark’s Alligator Eggs were on shelves in the early 1980’s, and today I will share a look at a box for these wonderfully-named treats.

Clark is best-known for their namesake bar and the Zagnut, but they did make other kinds of confections, as you can see.

Alligator Eggs is one that I really enjoyed finding, so let’s take a look at the box:

Clark – Alligator Eggs – candy box – 1981

Clark’s Alligator Eggs presents a relatively simple design, but with a fun juggling alligator mascot that really is the star of this box.

And that’s everything for today.  See ya next time!

I don’t remember Alligator Eggs, but that’s a neat box! I don’t understand what alligators have to do with lemons, though.

I absolutely remember these candies. My best friend and I ate them all the time. We even made up a song to go with it. She had really dry, scaly skin. We would go around singing, “Alligator eggs, alligator legs. ” Lol. I know…..We were weird kids. 🙂 Wonder where I could find some of these. I would love to send her some!! Lol
